I rode to the NO TRESPASSING gate again. This time I took the GPS with me. It clips to my handlebars. My final distance was 9.66 miles, with a top speed of 28.8mph and an average speed of 11.8mph. My quads still burned quite a bit on the ascent, but I never had to stop. I went pretty slow up the steepest part of the hill, but knowing I’ve done it before kept me from trying to wimp out.
It’s a beautiful view.
