More trip photos from Tennessee and North Carolina

I’m going to try a gallery for all these images rather than mess with each one individually.

I left Paula’s house and took some pictures of her house and neighborhood.

I also thought it was so interesting how Tennessee has a crust of layered rock along all the highways. It seems I remember someone saying that Rocky Top Tennessee was inspired by this geological formation.

Gas is a lot cheaper in some areas. Who know why? I don’t.

The highways are very pretty with lots of green. It’s even prettier in the Great Smoky Mountains. But, I was in road construction which delayed my arrival to Raleigh by almost two hours.

The ivy was really interesting. It can cover masses of trees like a blanket. I’m sure it’s a pest, but it sure is pretty in it’s own way.

What a beautiful motel room huh?
